Infant/preschool

Our Natural World

While the major focus of this group will focus upon cooperative play, we will light the chalice each Sunday and introduce children to the natural world through stories about animals and the environment. Towards the end of the school year, the preschool group will join the other children in their celebration service.

Grades K – 3 and 4 – 6

Celebrating Rainforests

Children will learn about our wonderful rainforests, including building a classroom forest! The end of the school year will culminate in an intergenerational service about our rainforests and our natural world. While both of these age groups will follow the same basic curriculum, the program includes times to be together as one large group and age-appropriate activities for the two separate groups.

Grades 8 – 12 and Young Adult

Sharing the Journey: Small Group Ministry with Youth

New this year, we will include our recent high school graduates as part of our Sunday morning programming. Late teens and early-twenty-somethings are welcome to be part of this group. This group only will meet on the first and third Sundays of the month, in facilitated sessions. Sessions will build through the year so that the group learns about being together in covenant, then selecting topics of their choice for discussion. Some of the topics will focus upon the environment in keeping with our annual theme.
